"Emily Montone & her staff @State Farm Insurance have been taking care of my entire family with homeowner/car/umbrella insurance coverage for several years-- first, for my Mom & Dad, and now, since their respective passings, for me as I've relocated back to my childhood home. They are easy to reach by phone/email, in addition to being awesome with advising on proper coverages/bundling for my home/car so that I receive the BEST coverage at the BEST possible price, as well as assistance with processing claims. "THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!! October 2025, I contacted this location for renters’ insurance. One the first try they had the wrong information on there. I got that fixed only to have the information wrong again. State Farm was trying to charge me an extra $11.00 on top of what I paid because they messed up the change. THEY MESSED UP THE CHANGE PUTTING THE WRONG ADDRESS THE SECOND TIME! AFTER I EXPLAINED THAT TO THE STATE FARM OFFICE THEY TOLD ME I HAVE A REFUND DUE. THEREFORE, THERE ARE 2 REFUNDS NOT ONE. THAT TOOK WEEKS TO FIX. In January I moved; after the debacle I wasn’t going to stay with them. I did not provide my new address to them AS STATE FARM SALES YOUR INFORMATION. I asked for the refund to be applied to the payment method; my credit card. I specifically called the location a few times leaving messages and speaking to them. I specifically told them to apply the refund to my credit card. I did not want to set up an account just to click on a button that said to refund my credit card BECAUSE THEY SALE YOUR INFORMATION. If the location can take my credit card, they should be able to refund it as well. I was told all kinds of things about State Farm procedures which I was not told of them prior to getting service with them. I told Emily that I will file a lawsuit against them for the money owed. She told me that a refund check was sent and I can only be refunded by a check. I sent her an email back saying I will come pick up a check from the office the following morning. I NEVER THREATENED ANYONE OR CURESED ANYONE. I MAY HAVE CURED BECAUSE OF THE SITUATION BUT NOT SOMEONE SPECIFIC. I got an email back from her saying she will call the police if I come to the office. Seriously, this is how State Farm treats former customers that could have become a customer again? Today I called around and was told I was refunded by check and as far as State Farm is concerned, I was refunded. I was NOT; did not receive a check or a refund to my credit card. I was basically told there is nothing I can do. I lost $90.00 or more. They kept my money and refuse to refund me to my credit card. Please stay away, they will change rules on you after you give them your money. CASE IN POINT SEE RESPONSE FROM OWNER. Giving them my new address seems the easiest thing, right? I shouldn’t have to thou NOT WHEN THEY SALE YOUR INFORMATION. That is the point, it’s my right as the customer."

"If you are going to write a review, you should probably tell the whole story. You contacted us with an address for the renters insurance, then you called back indicating you gave us the wrong address so we had to rewrite the policy. The different location came back as a higher rate $11 per year. It was not an error, it was the accurate rate for that location. You also decided to leave out that you called my office and yelled and swore at my team. You also decided to leave out that getting the refund to your card WAS an option, you just refused to follow the steps. We are unable to process a refund check from the office, which was clearly explained to you. So when you threaten to show up to my office after you have been hostile, demanding something out of our scope,yes, appropriate steps will be taken for our safety. And finally, you also left out we did offer to get you a new refund check mailed out to you since you don’t want to do the steps for the credit card, to which you also refused. You have been provided the billing number who will send you out a new refund check. "

"Communicating with State Farm representatives by phone, and online especially, has been very difficult. The latter method should be changed to email to keep the customer in the loop without going through hoops. If it had not been for Lauren Polimene in the office located on Wilson Mills Road, I would have cancelled my coverage with State Farm. When she is not available, no one automatically covers for her and so timely communication gaps grow larger and more frustrating. Fortunately, Lauren Polimene investigates and updates me via e-mail. By doing so, she eliminates the time to decipher the website and the personal time consumed sorting through all the possibilities. SF, close the loop and send copies of what you report online to your clients. The only thing that saves me from disengaging with State Farm is Lauren! She is an asset to your organization!!"
